This year’s Con Hogan Award for Creative, Entrepreneurial, Community Leadership will go to Michael Monte.
Monte serves as Chief Financial and Operating Officer of Champlain Housing Trust. He has more than 30 years of experience in the community and economic development field. The award will be presented at a celebration at Vermont College of Fine Arts in Montpelier on Wednesday, October 5 at 4:00 pm.
The $15,000 annual award—to be spent however the selected individual chooses—was established in 2015. It intends to recognize Con Hogan’s life’s work and commitment by encouraging and rewarding mid-career leaders who share his vision of a better Vermont—one that places the highest value on the public good—and who seize the responsibility for making that vision real by using data and measurement, monitoring a plan of action, and making adjustments along the way.
You can learn more about Monte and the award and RSVP to attend the October 5 celebration here. The event is free, but space is limited.
