Cumulative growth of worker productivity and median compensation in Vermont and U.S., 2000-2025

Vermont workers’ pay has not kept pace with their productivity. From 2000 to 2025, productivity grew 49 percent in Vermont. But compensation for production and nonsupervisory workers rose by just 34 percent.
